Abstract
In this paper, neutrosophic fuzzy logic is employed for vector control-based speed control of permanent magnet synchronous machine fed by photovoltaic panel and lithium battery. Maximum power transfer from photovoltaic panel to synchronous machine and battery is achieved by maximum power point tracker based on buck-boost converter with perturb&observe control. Battery is charged and discharged by bidirectional battery charger. Proportional-integral controller is preferred for the control of voltage and current at charging duration and voltage at discharging duration. Operation of bidirectional battery charger is carried out by logic controller depends on state of charge of battery and irradiation level of photovoltaic energy. Thanks to the simulations, speed of permanent magnet synchronous motor under reference and load change, photovoltaic and battery power under irradiation level and ambient temperature change are measured and shown. As a result, overall system operates perfectly. It constitutes a good alternative for water pumping, electrical and naval applications.
