Abstract

Ereynetes (Ereynetes) septentrionalis (Berlese) (Ereynetidae) samples were collected from storage spaces and garlic growing areas in Kastamonu─Turkey. The family Ereynetidae and Ereynetes are new records for Turkey. Cheletomorpha lepidopterorum (Shaw), Cheyletus eruditus (Schrank) and Cheyletus malaccensis (Oudemans) (Acari: Cheyletidae) have also been collected during this study. Samples were collected during the vegetation period in garlic growing areas and their storage spaces in Kastamonu during 2014─2015. Measurements and drawings of E. (E.) septentrionalis (Berlese) and distribution records for the cheyletid species have been provided.
