A Tribute to Prof. Dr. Bayram Göçmen (23 December 1965-22 March 2019)

Abstract

If there’s something written to my destiny: “Biology/Zoology is not a profession for me, it’s my lifestyle. My feelings, approaches and reactions are coming out of this lifestyle. If you want to learn something, experience it! If you take nature as an example, there is no chance of making a mistake! That’s the right way!” - Prof. Dr. Bayram GÖÇMEN We (and many people around the world who know him) are in deep sorrow to lose Prof. Dr. Bayram GÖÇMEN, who passed away on 22 March 2019. He will always be remembered with his passion to biology, the invaluable works and students he left behind.Alnıma yazılmış bir şey varsa: “Biyoloji/Zooloji benim için bir meslek değil, bir yaşam tarzıdır. Duygularım,yaklaşımlarım, tepkilerim, bu yaşam tarzının içinden çıkmadır. Öğrenmek istiyorsan tecrübe et! Doğa örnek alındığında hatayapma şansınız da yoktur!” Prof. Dr. Bayram GöçmenBiz (ve dünyanın çeşitli yerlerinde kendisini tanıyan birçok insan) 22 Mart 2019'da vefat eden Prof. Dr. Bayram GÖÇMEN'ikaybetmekten büyük üzüntü duyuyoruz. Kendisi her zaman biyolojiye olan tutkusuyla, geride bıraktığı değerli eserlerle veöğrencilerle hatırlanacaktır.
