dc.description.abstractLibya is one of the biggest countries in Africa. The "Arab Spring" significantly affected the political system and sociopolitical organization of Libya. The authoritative management that forbids the political parties, the welfare obtained from the exportation of rich natural resources was not reflected to the community and the corruptions increased while only managing elite part got richer are main reasons of such an insurrection. Economy of Libya depends on a single sector, which is energy. The historical relations between Turkey should not be forgotten and the economic cooperation between both countries should be increased.
