| dc.description.abstract | Increasing female’s participation in the labour force is an important issue for countries that aims sustainable economic growth. Although the female labour force participation rate in Türkiye has increased since 2006, it is quite low compared to developed countries. There is a general consensus in the literature that the environment affects the labour force participation rate of females. In addition, the perception whether women who have children and undertake housework will be productive in business life also affects the decision to participate in the labour force. The aim of this study is to investigate the environmental and productivity perception factors that affect women's participation in the labour force. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on working women in Türkiye and Exploratory Factor Analysis (Exploratory Factor Analysis) and hypothesis tests were conducted. It was concluded that environmental and efficiency perception factors affect each other positively and significantly. It has been revealed that factors such as marital status, having children, and working in the private sector also affect environmental and efficiency perceptions. | |
