Effect of Al2O3 and WO3 Ceramic Additives on the Surface Morphology and Mechanical Properties of Electroless Nickel-Boron Composite Coatings Fabricated on AZ31 Magnesium Alloy

dc.description.abstractEn el presente estudio, se ha presentado la síntesis y una comparación de las propiedades (estructurales y mecánicas) de los recubrimientos compuestos de Ni-B y Ni-B-Al2O3 y Ni-B-WO3 para dilucidar el papel beneficioso de la adición de Al2O3 o WO3 en los recubrimientos binarios de Ni-B. Los recubrimientos de Ni-B-Al2O3 y Ni-B-WO3 se sintetizaron añadiendo partículas en polvo de Al2O3 o NaWO3 a la solución de recubrimiento de Ni-B mencionada anteriormente. Se ha observado una mejora significativa en las propiedades mecánicas mediante la adición de adiciones de Al2O3 o WO3. Esta nueva composición de recubrimiento compuesto será útil para aplicaciones de desgaste y corrosión.
dc.description.abstractDans la présente étude, la synthèse et une comparaison des propriétés (structurelles et mécaniques) des revêtements composites Ni-B et Ni-B-Al2O3 et Ni-B-WO3 ont été présentées pour élucider le rôle bénéfique de l'addition d'Al2O3 ou de WO3 dans les revêtements Ni-B binaires. Les revêtements Ni-B-Al2O3 et Ni-B-WO3 ont été synthétisés en ajoutant des particules en poudre d'Al2O3 ou de NaWO3 dans la solution de revêtement Ni-B mentionnée ci-dessus. Une amélioration significative des propriétés mécaniques a été observée par l'ajout d'ajouts d'Al2O3 ou de WO3. Cette nouvelle composition de revêtement composite sera utile pour les applications d'usure et de corrosion.
dc.description.abstractIn the present study, synthesis and a comparison of properties (structural and mechanical) of Ni-B and Ni-B-Al2O3 and Ni-B-WO3 composite coatings have been presented to elucidate the beneficial role of Al2O3 or WO3 addition in binary Ni-B coatings.The Ni-B-Al2O3 and Ni-B-WO3 coatings were synthesized by adding Al2O3 or NaWO3 powdered particles into the above mentioned Ni-B coating solution.A significant improvement in mechanical properties has been observed by the addition of Al2O3 or WO3 additions.This novel composite coating composition will be useful for wear and corrosion applications.
dc.description.abstractفي هذه الدراسة، تم تقديم توليف ومقارنة الخصائص (الهيكلية والميكانيكية) لطلاءات Ni - B و Ni - B - Al2O3 و Ni - B - WO3 المركبة لتوضيح الدور المفيد لإضافة Al2O3 أو WO3 في طلاءات Ni - B الثنائية. تم تصنيع طلاءات Ni - B - Al2O3 و Ni - B - WO3 بإضافة جزيئات مسحوق Al2O3 أو NaWO3 إلى محلول طلاء Ni - B المذكور أعلاه. وقد لوحظ تحسن كبير في الخواص الميكانيكية من خلال إضافة إضافات Al2O3 أو WO3. ستكون تركيبة الطلاء المركبة الجديدة هذه مفيدة لتطبيقات التآكل والتآكل.
